The National Driver Licence Service (NDLS) is responsible for receiving and processing all applications for Learner Permits and Driver Licences.
There are 34 (NDLS) Centres nationwide. Opening hours are from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 2pm Saturday.
As the application process includes a face to face meeting, it is advised to make an appointment before arriving at your local Driver Licence Centre.
To contact (NDLS) call 071-1087880 or visit www.ndls.ie

Make sure you bring all the correct documentation on the day of your appointment. During the process, your photo and signature will be captured digitally by a customer service agent. The whole appointment process usually takes no more than 15 minutes. Generally, it takes between 5 to 8 working days to receive your licence in the post.

Once you receive your licence in the post, you can start to look at the next stage in the learning to drive process…. driving lessons and practice sessions.

SAFE MOTORING!
